Approximately 40 minutes (39 miles) from the hotel. Lots of direct flights from the East + West Coast and easy Ubers to Oceanside! Likely the most convenient option if you're coming just for
the weekend.

Approximately 45 minutes (49 miles) from the hotel. Direct flights available from the West Coast- connecting flights are required for our East Coast guests. This would be a good option if you are planning to spend time in Los Angeles or Orange County before/after our wedding.

Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes (88 miles) from the hotel. A good backup option if you can't find a good flight time from San Diego or Orange County!

Where will the celebrations take place?

Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held at Monserate Winery. Our Welcome Party will take place at The Cafe at Mission Pacific (previously High/Low) in the lobby of the hotel. Refer to the events section for more wedding details and a full weekend schedule!

Is there a hotel block?

We have reserved rooms for our guests at The Mission Pacific Beach Resort. We anticipate these rooms booking up very quickly and recommend reserving as soon as you can. To book your hotel and for more travel details, please visit the travel section.

What is the Friday evening attire?

Welcome Party Attire: Upscale Coastal Cocktail
We'd love for everyone to dress in elevated evening attire that feels polished with a coastal feel for a beautiful night overlooking the ocean. Think elegant midi or maxi dresses, dressy jumpsuits or elevated sets with a polished, coastal feel, while men may opt for slacks with a collared shirt and optional blazer. Think chic, sophisticated, yet relaxed looks that suit the coastal setting.

What is the wedding day attire?

Our wedding dress code is Summer Black Tie Optional. We want to see you all dress up with us!

Ladies:
Full length dresses - think elegance with a summer twist! Keep in mind that our wedding will be outdoors California. Opt for breathable formal fabrics and avoid heavy materials. Color is welcome but dresses with trains are not. Our ceremony will take place on artificial grass, but stilettos and heels will be completely fine. Please note that Elizabeth's bridesmaids will be in chocolate brown.

Gents:
Tuxedos or dark suits with a jacket. If you do not have a tux, please do not feel obligated to go buy or rent one. A dark suit is completely fine!

Is there transportation to/from the wedding?

Yes, we will be providing transportation to and from the venue for our guests.

If you would like to utilize the shuttle service, shuttles will depart promptly at 3:00pm from The Mission Pacific Hotel. Please plan to arrive at the front of the hotel on N Myers Street around 2:50pm, where the valet is located (across from the parking lot). As the shuttles must remain on schedule, they will not be able to wait for late arrivals.

At the conclusion of the wedding, shuttles will transport guests directly to the afterparty at The Surf Club, which is within walking distance to The Mission Pacific Hotel.

Do I need to bring my ID?

Due to state liquor laws, our venue is required to check IDs at the bar during the wedding reception. To help everything run smoothly, we kindly ask that guests bring your ID to all wedding events, including the Welcome Party, Wedding, and After Party. Thank you!

Are kids invited?

We have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally listed on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP.

Can I take pictures?

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). We'd love everyone to be present with us as we say "I do" and for our photographer to be able to capture these organic moments. Once the ceremony has concluded, please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Is there parking at the venue?

For guests who won't be taking advantage of the shuttle, there will be complimentary parking at Monserate. You are welcome to leave your car overnight, however, please note that cars will need to be picked up on Sunday during winery operational hours (11am-5pm).

How/when should I RSVP?
